God often uses the storms that we go through in life to reveal aspects of our lives that may be hidden from us. Aspects such as our fears...our failures, our weaknesses, our attitudes, as well as our faith. Ultimately our storms also reveal to us the strength of our Savior!

Life is filled with many storms, that often can take us completely by surprise. Regardless of whether or not we receive any warning, and no matter what the severity of the storm...Jesus is our peace. He will respond when we cry out to Him, but sometimes He calms the storm...and sometimes He just calms us.

In these times of uncertainty, we are quickly losing grasp of systems,things, or people to put our trust in. In this timely message, we are encouraged to invest in the same system that Abraham, Joseph, the Disciples, David, Job, Daniel and countless others throughout the Bible invested in. They have shown us by example that "In God We Trust" is more than sufficient to see us through this perilous road of life.

As Jacob lay on his deathbed, he summons for his children to gather around him, and bestows the traditional blessings. His ominous words spoken to his firstborn, Reuben, serve as a stark reminder to all of us..."Unstable as water." Reuben should have received the greatest blessing, but his instability in judgment cost him dearly... Thankfully, while we may share Reuben's propensity to sin...our story does not have to end there.

Our failures do not have to dictate our future...they do not have to be fatal! Jesus Christ offers forgiveness, but we have to be willing to ask for, and receive it.
